Advanced Clinical Practitioner

You will be working as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Gastroenterology, providing healthcare autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team. Your generic and specialist knowledge and skills will be utilized to deliver high-quality patient care.
Person Specification- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
- Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional registered with a professional body
- Non Medical Prescriber registered with NMC or other professional body
- ALS Provider
- Evidence of post registration training and/or qualifications
- Evidence of teaching, supervision and assessment skills
- ALS Instructor
- Mentor/assessor qualification
- Completed a portfolio of supervised practice in Advanced Clinical Practice
- Evidence of continued professional development following completion of MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
- Able to present and receive complex information to multidisciplinary team
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of patients
- Assertiveness and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to accept constructive feedback
- Evidence of multidisciplinary teaching
- Ability to respond to, prioritise and analyse complex health conditions and ensure effective interventions are actioned in a timely manner.
- Able to work with undifferentiated and undiagnosed healthcare problems.
- Deal effectively with clinical issues within defined procedures and guidelines
- Active involvement in departmental operational development
- Participation in research or audit projects
- Active change initiator
- Willingness to adapt to departmental and patient need.
- Efficient time and deadline management
- Ability to manoeuvre patients and perform clinical examinations as required
- Demonstrate flexibility in working patterns and practices.
