We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Clinical Lead for our Specialist Voice Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, developing, and delivering a high-quality, evidence-based speech and language therapy service for trans and gender diverse patients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and provide highly specialist speech and language therapy services for specified clients, assessing their needs and providing programs and resources.
- Evaluate clients' needs to provide effective support at the right time, prioritizing the caseload according to clinical effectiveness guidelines.
- Support colleagues within and outside of speech and language therapy, including providing student placements.
- Develop and lead a team of speech and language therapists, providing clinical supervision and guidance.
- Recognized Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent.
- HCPC - Licence to Practice.
- Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
- Evidence of successful completion of specialist short courses up to Master's degree equivalent.
- Membership of relevant Special Interest Groups.
- Relevant experience at undergraduate/postgraduate level.
- Demonstrable relevant experience post-qualification, evidence of working as a Specialist Speech & Language Therapist.
- In-depth experience within specialist area.
