FBR Construction Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our clients' employees and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and Develop Health and Safety Management Systems
Develop, implement, and maintain effective health and safety management systems to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Provide Risk Assessments and Method StatementsConduct thorough risk assessments and provide method statements for all projects to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Provide Health and Safety Guidance and SupportOffer expert guidance and support to senior management, employees, and contractors on health and safety matters, including occupational safety, health, environmental, and quality issues.
Assist with Compliance and Regulatory MattersAssist with ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, client standards, and contractual arrangements, and provide training to staff and managers to maximize improvements in skills and safety performance.
Develop and Promote a Positive Health and Safety CultureDevelop, promote, and monitor a positive health and safety culture within the organization, identifying areas of risk and developing measures to reduce and control harm.
Monitor and Report Health and Safety PerformanceProduce regular health and safety performance reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting areas of improvement and success.
Requirements
- Experience in Safety and Environment within the Construction Industry
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
Good Academic QualificationsA minimum of a NEBOSH certificate (General and/or Construction Certificate) or equivalent.
Full, Clean Driving LicenceA valid full, clean driving licence is essential for this role.
