Job Description

Oxford Economics, a leading global economic research and consultancy firm, is seeking a highly skilled Climate Research Director to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading climate research initiatives, providing insightful analysis to clients, and contributing to the growth of our Global Climate Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement climate research strategies to meet client needs and drive business growth.
  • Lead the development of climate research reports, briefings, and other analytical products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver climate-related consultancy projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and delivery of research products.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest climate policy, literature, and regulatory research to provide expert analysis and insights.

Requirements:

  • First-rate academic training in economics, environmental science, or a related field, with a Master's or PhD degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in climate economics or research, with a focus on developing macroeconomic ideas and themes.
  • Strong track record in developing client relationships, excellent presentation skills, and experience in macroeconomic consultancy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
