At Allianz Popular SL, we are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Underwriter to join our team in Birmingham City Centre Office.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding technical underwriting skills in commercial property and/or casualty, with a proven track record of dealing with large and/or complex risks.

As a Senior Authority holder, you will be responsible for winning and retaining business of a large and complex nature, providing excellent service to our customers, and building and developing successful Broker relationships.

You will be visible in the local market, thriving on face-to-face contact with brokers and end customers, and developing business relationships with key clients.

Achieving agreed financial and operational performance targets will be a key aspect of this role, as well as collaborating strongly with other departments to achieve the Company's goals in respect of service delivery.

We are looking for a confident and engaging communicator with the ability to challenge and influence others, as well as a good team player who is supportive to others with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.

ACII qualified or progression towards is a must, as well as full working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
