About the Role
Become a vital part of our Rail division as a Signalling and S&C Operations Supervisor. The CRSA is dedicated to enhancing the UK track renewals landscape by harnessing the collective strengths of its partners through cooperative initiatives.
This alliance is committed to integrating expertise and insights in essential rail infrastructure and track renewals, employing innovative strategies to boost operational efficiency and foster a more dependable railway network.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Supervisor, you will be accountable for:
- Overseeing the meticulous planning and implementation of Signalling Renewals Works as directed by the Construction Manager (Signalling)
- Coordinating and supervising the activities of track personnel
- Achieving established performance and Key Result Area (KRA) targets
- Ensuring compliance with contractual specifications for all undertakings
- Adhering to relevant Safety Legislation and Welfare Regulations
- Guaranteeing that all tasks align with contract specifications and Network Rail Group and Line Standards
- Confirming that work is conducted by qualified personnel
- Providing technical assistance to the track team and construction manager
- Supporting the Construction Manager and track team in fulfilling the renewals program objectives
- Delivering signalling technical and operational support to the Track team
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate should possess:
- A thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical components within S&C frameworks
- An IRSE license or be in the process of obtaining one
- Completion of signalling modules SMTH, Mod 3C, and Mod 5 (preferred)
This position entails Safety Critical responsibilities and may necessitate working on-site during non-standard hours, including weekends and nights.
