Job Title: Engineering Shift Supervisor
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Shift Supervisor to join our team at Bakkavor Group. As an Engineering Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and improving the performance of processing equipment across the site. You will also manage the engineering team to ensure delivery of scheduled work and reactive work, optimizing plant availability and managing technical specifications for ingredients, products, processes, and packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement agreed training and development plans to meet engineering and production needs.
- Ensure engineering downtime is minimized, accurately logged, and monitor the repair time.
- Liaise with planning and operations team to allow for PPM to be completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure all stock is logged in and out of the stores area, highlighting any stock issues to the engineering team manager.
- Maintain standards of hygiene and good housekeeping appropriate to a quality food manufacturer.
