Job Summary

The RMC Plant Yard/Loader Operator is a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of plant operations at Tex-Mix Concrete. This position requires a combination of physical endurance, technical skill, and safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the Loader and other heavy machinery safely and appropriately, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Maintain stock piles by pushing up newly unloaded material from aggregate haulers.
  • Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with the batch office through the use of 2-way radio or hand signals.
  • Learn and adapt to the specific operations of a loader in the context of an RMC plant.
  • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of the Loader and RMC plant.

Requirements

  • Experience in operating a front-end loader, specifically in a RMC plant environment preferred.
  • Must possess a Texas Driver's License.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, based on production needs.
  • Uphold and contribute to a consistent safety culture.
  • Ability to push, turn, and pull controls, and perform all job functions as required.
