About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Selfridges as a Major Incident Manager, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and services. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for coordinating the response to major incidents, working closely with stakeholders to resolve issues and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the response to major incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain incident management processes and procedures
  • Provide training and support to IT teams on incident management best practices
  • Conduct post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

  • Proven experience in incident management, preferably in a complex IT environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks and standards, such as ITIL
  • Experience with service management tools and technologies, such as ServiceNow or Jira
