Distribution Operations Supervisor

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the distribution center, leading and motivating your team to achieve accurate and timely processing of customer orders.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the distribution center, ensuring efficient and safe working practices.
- Lead and motivate your team to achieve high levels of productivity and quality, while promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations and excellent customer service.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft applications.
