About the Role

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant-Estates to join our team at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Operational Estates. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive and planned preventative maintenance across the hospital campus, supporting our tradesmen and technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of hospital facilities.
  • Support tradesmen and technicians in their duties, providing assistance as needed.
  • Contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of hospital equipment and infrastructure.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a healthcare environment.
  • Significant knowledge and understanding of a wide range of work tasks required within a healthcare environment.
