- Providing a safe and efficient maintenance service to all building-related infrastructure.
- Assisting in the development of the Estates function into a customer-focused range of services.
- Adopting a flexible and integrated working approach to the delivery of Estates services.
- Recognized and registered CITB (or equivalent) craft Apprenticeship or City & Guilds appropriate qualification.
- Competent tradesperson with extensive relevant experience in building maintenance, preferably in the healthcare sector.
About the Role:
The Estates Department plays a critical role in facilitating the delivery of uninterrupted quality healthcare by providing a safe, comfortable, and statutory-compliant built environment that supports the effective provision of high-quality clinical care for patients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and delivering an effective Planned Preventive Maintenance program and reactive repair service, as well as executing installation and commissioning works of critical plant and equipment to support the delivery of all clinical services.
Requirements:
- Recognized and registered CITB (or equivalent) craft Apprenticeship or City & Guilds appropriate qualification.
- Competent tradesperson with extensive relevant experience in building maintenance, preferably in the healthcare sector.
