Our Real Estate Planning team is renowned for its expertise in advising on high-profile developments across the UK. With a strong focus on infrastructure and environmental projects, we offer a unique opportunity for experienced lawyers to join our national team.

What We Do

We handle a wide range of complex mandates in the residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors, as well as contentious work in Judicial Review and Lands Chamber proceedings. Our team offers clients a full-spectrum of expertise, from development consent orders to compulsory acquisitions, and from strategic planning advice to environmental statements.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a strong and experienced lawyer with a genuine enthusiasm to develop our great team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years post-admission experience gained within a planning team, with a solid understanding of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997. Experience in planning agreements, highway agreements, and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling inquiries, examinations, and judicial reviews relating to planning matters
  • Providing strategic planning advice and reviewing environmental statements
  • Assisting with project management and supporting our national real estate practice
