Join our Planning Team

We are seeking a highly experienced Planning Lawyer to join our Real Estate Planning team in the UK. Our team is renowned for its expertise in planning, infrastructure, and environmental work, and we are looking for a talented individual to help us deliver exceptional results for our clients.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of premium-level planning projects, including large-scale development consent orders, compulsory acquisitions, and strategic planning advice. You will have the chance to work with a talented team of lawyers and professionals to deliver complex and high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert planning advice to clients on a range of projects, including development consent orders and compulsory acquisitions
  • Assist with project management and coordination to ensure successful project delivery
  • Review and advise on environmental statements and other planning-related documents
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement planning strategies for clients

Requirements

  • 5+ years of post-admission experience in planning law
  • Knowledge of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997
  • Experience of planning agreements and highway agreements
  • Ability to handle inquiries, examinations, and judicial reviews relating to planning matters
