We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our client based in Derry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing financial insights and support to aid business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Cost Management: Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial planning and analysis strategies to improve financial performance and drive business growth.
- Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, and perform audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including management and external parties.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in management accounting or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
