Our global organisation is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to manage the financial operations of their plant in Northern Ireland. This role is central to our commitment to excellence and will work closely with the CFO Europe to drive impactful decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Financial Guidance: As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with the Plant Manager to drive strategic decisions and provide robust financial reporting.
  2. Financial Integrity: You will maintain the accuracy of financial accounts in compliance with accepted accounting principles and company policies.
  3. Statutory & Compliance Reporting: You will oversee the preparation and timely submission of statutory accounts, coordinating with auditors to ensure compliance.
  4. Budgeting & Forecasting: You will lead the creation of annual budgets, monthly accounts, and weekly forecasts, aligning with business requirements.
  5. Payroll & Tax Oversight: You will manage payroll, benefits administration, and ensure timely, accurate tax filings.
  6. KPI & Budget Monitoring: You will implement and maintain effective controls for monitoring department KPIs and budgets.
  7. Internal Controls: You will develop and sustain internal controls to support financial integrity and compliance.
  8. Capital Project Review: You will support capital expenditure projects by reviewing and assessing business cases.
Position Requirements:
  1. Professional Accountancy Qualification with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
  2. Experience working within a global organisation is preferred.
  3. Demonstrated project management skills, analytical expertise, and strong organisational capabilities.

Salary: £60-70K depending on experience + 15% MIP bonus.
