Exciting Opportunity for a Creative and Commercial Childrenswear Designer

We are seeking a talented Designer with past experience working across children's and baby wear at a supplier or retailer to join our rapidly growing fashion business.

This is a fantastic opportunity with great growth potential offering flexible hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing multi-product kidswear and/or babywear for a broad range of UK retailers and brands.
  • Collaborating with the design team to create seasonal collections aligned with the latest trends.
  • Working proactively on product development, adapting to market changes and customer demands.
  • Creating detailed technical packs for production, ensuring accuracy in designs and clear specifications.
  • Presenting designs and concepts to customers in a clear and professional manner.
  • Confidently translating trend research to inform customer-specific designs.
  • Collaborating with our overseas design and production teams to ensure design intent is maintained through to finished products.

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience working for a supplier and/or retailer in a relevant design role.
  • Graphic design experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Deep understanding of trend forecasting, fabric innovation, and product development.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly in customer-facing situations.
