Older Boyswear Design Opportunity

We're seeking a talented Childrenswear Designer to join our team at Next Sourcing. As a key member of our design team, you'll be responsible for researching the latest trends and communicating this information to your team and senior managers.

The Role

As a Boyswear Design Specialist, you'll be creating new and innovative designs that tastefully represent and reflect the latest trends into the Next customer base. Your day-to-day roles could include briefing suppliers, building great relationships, and working closely with the Assistant Designers & sourcing team to support the whole design process from planning new ranges through to product selection.

About You

We're looking for someone with previous experience working within a UK brand, supplier or high street retailer. Previous experience working on garment design is essential. You'll need a great taste level and a real passion for the latest trends and how to translate these in a fun way to your designs. A high level of experience and proficiency in creating designs and tech packs using Adobe Creative Suite is necessary for this role. Confident communication skills and the ability to manage an Assistant Designer are also required.

The Team

You'll be joining an amazing team whose enthusiasm for childrenswear design and elevation is the main focus. A wealth of experience across multi-fabrications and innovative progression is one of the many plus points of joining this team. Let's have fun with design
