About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Information Strategy and Governance Team. As the Head of Information Strategy and Governance, you will play a critical role in shaping the digital preservation strategy for the Digital Preservation Coalition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement information governance policies and procedures to ensure the long-term preservation and accessibility of digital assets.
  • Lead the Information Strategy and Governance Team in the development and implementation of digital preservation strategies and plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate information risk and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on information governance and digital preservation best practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in information governance and digital preservation, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate information risk.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
  • Strong knowledge of digital preservation technologies and tools.
