Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing to join our team at BOC Limited, a Linde company. As a key member of our operations and services team, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic direction of our sourcing strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and execute commodity strategies within assigned business units, aligned to our overall business strategy and priorities.
  • Partner with business units at a senior level to align strategies and needs with sourcing strategy, ensuring quality, price, and delivery of goods and services.
  • Manage a small team responsible for commodities across aligned business units, consisting of a Procurement Manager and Senior Buyers.
  • Accountable for managing key supplier relationships and maximizing supplier productivity across hard and soft savings.
  • Stay abreast of supplier market outlook, innovation, products, and pricing, using market knowledge to identify products and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar level senior/management procurement role within a large national or global company.
  • Educated to degree level (MSc/MBA) or equivalent, with CIPS qualification desired.
  • Strategic sourcing/procurement skills demonstrated at a senior level, with successful leadership skills in managing people, teams, and change.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a large networked international company, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of self-motivation, tenacity to drive and deliver results in a high-pressure environment, with commercial and business acumen.
  • Proven project management skills, with ability to drive continuous improvements, savings, and best practices.
