Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join BOC Limited, a Linde company, as a Procurement Manager - Strategic Sourcing. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and execution of our sourcing strategy, maximising supplier productivity and managing key supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance
  • Manage key supplier relationships, ensuring delivery of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective procurement solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, innovation, and best practices in procurement
  • Facilitate access to supplier innovation and product development within the market
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar level senior/management procurement role within a large national or global company
  • Educated to degree level (MSc/MBA) or equivalent, with a CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) qualification desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and ability to develop positive working relationships
  • High level of self-motivation, tenacity to drive and deliver results in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent level of commercial and business acumen, with an understanding of the nature of our products and services
  • Proven project management skills, with ability to drive continuous improvements, savings, and best practices
