About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our team at KFC Europe. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for leading the procurement process for our technology and IT needs.

Your primary focus will be on delivering value across the region, working closely with regional tech leads to lead procurement and create value for the business. You will also support the definition of the category and sourcing strategy that delivers on short- and long-term goals of the BMUs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement and create value for the business
  • Support the definition of the category and sourcing strategy
  • Own the regional 'Value Plan' for your Category
  • Lead your own workstream and forum for value creation
  • Support the Category Leader in defining and implementing long-term category strategy

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of Procurement or Supply Chain experience
  • 2+ years in a Category Manager equivalent role, preferably in tech, IT Procurement, FMCG
  • Proven experience in autonomously conducting cost and supply projects
  • Proven experience of working collaboratively in complex stakeholder environments
  • Very strong analytical skills and financial acumen
  • Proven experience in category management
  • Proven experience in defining contract KPIs and successfully driving supplier performance
