Teaching Opportunity in Further Education

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate lecturer to join our team at Reed Further Education. As a lecturer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and adults in further education.

Our client colleges across the Midlands, Wales, Cambridge, and other areas are looking for talented and committed lecturers to register with our agency. The roles vary from permanent to temporary, and can be part-time or full-time depending on availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students in further education
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and materials
  • Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental and institutional goals
Requirements:
  • Teaching qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS, PGCE, certificate in education)
  • Level 3 or equivalent qualification in teaching subject area
  • Ability to manage challenging behavior
  • Experience interacting with 16–19-year-olds in education or apprentice setting
  • Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance
