Job Description:

Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls and Automation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls and Automation Specialist to join our team at Minstrell Engineering. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for leading and assisting with various tasks to deliver key Engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Control & Automation projects from concept through to completion
  • Conduct site-based installation and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and vendors
  • Supervise and coordinate site activities to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
  • Perform PLC / Controls duties and ensure seamless integration with other systems
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders and subcontractors to achieve successful project delivery
  • Attend meetings with key stakeholders to discuss project progress and requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work closely as part of a team to deliver successful outcomes
  • Strong initiative and drive to carry out assigned tasks and activities
  • Ability to work in a proactive and professional manner
  • Focus and hard work to achieve specific goals and outcomes

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Full clean driving license and own method of transport
  • Experience in a project engineering and project management environment or education
  • Relevant engineering qualifications
