NRL Recruitment is currently working with a client to fill a permanent position for a Digital Engineer in a Telford-based project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate MEP models from stage 4 designs to stage 5.
  2. Detail MEP service modules for manufacture.
  3. Deliver individual service drawings for installation purposes.
  4. Revise drawings to include client instructions.
  5. Upload drawings to a common data environment.
  6. Address site queries related to drawings/models.
  7. Input COBie data into the model environment.
  8. Revise models and drawings to as-built status.
  9. Create Revit families for selected equipment.
  10. Attend coordination meetings with relevant team members.
  11. Represent the client at BIM/Digital Asset meetings.
  12. Perform other tasks as required by the Digital Engineering Lead.

Requirements:

  1. At least 4 years of experience in Revit MEP coordination.
  2. Good understanding of MEP systems and installation procedures.
  3. Strong knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and model checking.
  4. Understanding of IS delivery.
  5. Ability to assist in pre-sales and sales meetings.
  6. 4D experience is preferred but not essential.
  7. 5D experience is preferred but not essential.
  8. Support the implementation of BIM standards, documentation, and protocols for various customers and projects.
