About the Role

We are seeking a qualified nurse or paramedic to join our team as a Police Custody Nurse or Paramedic. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment, providing high-quality care to detainees in custody suites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional care to detainees in custody suites, working closely with the police to ensure their health and wellbeing is at the forefront of our care approach.
  • Work in a team environment, providing support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with police colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance clinical, forensic, and wider skills.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £40,000 per year, plus a £1000 bonus after 12 months of service.
  • A rolling rota pattern of 4 shifts on and 4 off, with the opportunity to work in a variety of custody suites across the region.

Person Specification

  • Qualified nurse or paramedic with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role.
  • Valid driving licence and ability to work in the UK for at least 3 years.
  • Ability to pass police vetting and work in a secure environment.
