Commissioning Engineer

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Commission and modify automated controls for supplied or modified equipment, ensuring timely and professional execution.
- Develop and deliver on-site testing, including function, integration, and capacity verification.
- Report and follow up on open points, utilizing project management tools.
- Ensure implementation and handover of the final approved system, transferring to Hotline support.
- Install and adjust electrical and mechanical equipment as required.
- Handover to the customer, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Provide remote technical support to customers as assigned.
- Interpret circuit diagrams and layout drawings for installation and troubleshooting purposes.
- Collaborate with the BEUMER software team during commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with customers and project personnel.
- Communicate commissioning and troubleshooting activities to relevant personnel in a timely and professional manner.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or equivalent.
- Electro-mechanical skills and knowledge.
- Similar roles in logistics and material handling equipment; automation, electrical, or mechanical engineering background.
- HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Ability to interpret circuit diagrams and layout drawings.
- Siemens S7, Ladder, and STL programming skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot remote software handling.
- Basic database functionality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professionalism and time management ability.
- Construction site H&S experience.
- Valid driving license.
- Flexibility to work night, weekend shifts, and occasional call-outs.
