Spencer Clarke Group is collaborating with a local authority to recruit two skilled Support Advisors to enhance their Children Services Team.
In this position, you will offer guidance, support, and resources to empower young individuals in optimizing their educational, vocational, and housing prospects.
Primary duties will encompass:
- Creating and executing the Pathway Plan for young individuals in care, aged 15 years and 6 months, or those transitioning from care, in partnership with the young person and relevant stakeholders. Oversee the preparation of the plan alongside the designated social worker.
- Supporting Social Workers and other professionals in the execution of assessments, interventions, and pathway plans. Contributing to comprehensive evaluations of service user requirements, encompassing a variety of outcomes.
- Ensuring the proactive engagement of care leavers in their transition plans and overseeing the evaluation and outcomes of these plans.
- Engaging with care leavers in service development and assisting them in building their skills and confidence to advocate in various settings.
