About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infection Prevention and Control Nurse to join our dynamic team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of infection prevention and control strategies across the trust, working closely with clinical teams and other stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing infection prevention and control policies and procedures
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to clinical teams on infection prevention and control best practices
  • Conducting audits and investigations to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective infection prevention and control practices
