We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Whinnieknowe, a care home located in the heart of Nairn. As a key worker for designated service users, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing care plans, assisting with personal and intimate care, and helping with the use of any aids or equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and review care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users
- Assist with personal and intimate care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Help service users with the use of aids and equipment, such as walkers and wheelchairs
- Liaise with health professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive care
- Support mental and physical activities, such as exercise and social events
- Maintain a high standard of personal environment and effects
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A SVQ 3 in Social Care or equivalent qualification
- Basic computer literacy skills
- A respect for Christian worship and the ability to facilitate service users' attendance at worship
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to delivering high-quality care and making a positive difference in the lives of service users
