Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team at Azalea Care, a leading provider of support services for young people with learning disabilities and autism. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Adhere to and follow all safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for our residents.
  2. Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, promoting their independence and dignity.
  3. Perform housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning, to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  4. Assist with medication administration, following established protocols and procedures.
  5. Accompany residents to appointments and outings, providing support and companionship.
  6. Follow care plans and risk assessments to ensure the individual needs of each resident are met.
  7. Support the deputy manager in their role, contributing to the overall management of the service.
  8. Complete supervisions and provide feedback to staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  9. Assist in the completion of all relevant plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met and their goals are achieved.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare and have at least 2 years of experience in care work. You will also need to be able to work in line with a rota plan, which may include sleep-ins. We offer a competitive hourly rate of £13.50 and a range of benefits, including company pension and health and wellbeing programme.

Working Hours:

No less than 35 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime and weekend work.

Location:

Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. We require a reliable commute or relocation before starting work.
