Job Title: Residential Team Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Team Leader to join our team at CareTech Group. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people.

Job Summary

The Residential Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team of support workers in providing 24/7 care and support to our young people. This will include planning and implementing individualized care plans, managing rotas, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of support workers in providing high-quality care and support to our young people
  • Plan and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager
  • Manage rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet the needs of our young people
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home, including maintaining a safe and welcoming environment
  • Supervise support workers in the absence of the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least six months' experience in children's residential care
  • A relevant Level 3 qualification
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
  • Valid DBS check
