Job Title: Care Support Worker

Join GSL Education as a Care Support Worker and make a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational and behavioural needs.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to work alongside our team of education professionals, providing support and guidance to students in a primary and secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized learning experiences for students with a range of special educational needs
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks as required
  • Support the delivery of lessons and activities in-line with the National Curriculum
  • Manage challenging behaviour and provide intervention support
  • Work collaboratively with education professionals to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months experience of supporting adults or young people with additional needs
  • Calm and caring demeanor, with a positive outlook on life
  • Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registration or willingness to apply
  • Commitment to working 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only
