Permanent position with a hybrid work model allowing for one day of remote work per week.
Support the establishment of the necessary framework for financial market operations, which includes developing business policies and procedures, conducting systems evaluations, setting up counterparties and client databases, and liaising with local regulatory bodies and the Head Office.
- Assist in the creation of a 24-hour trading framework at the group level, which involves developing cooperation protocols and enhancing transaction systems.
- Follow directives from the Head Office regarding FX/Commodity products and strive for optimal market execution under specified conditions.
- Oversee risk exposures by utilizing financial market instruments to manage interest rate and currency exchange risks.
- Administer cash flow and liquidity for bank accounts, engaging in interbank lending/borrowing, FX swaps, and interest rate derivative transactions in alignment with the bank's asset-liability strategy.
- Cultivate and broaden the bank's trading counterparties to ensure competitive market pricing for lending and borrowing, thereby fulfilling daily liquidity management needs.
- Proactively engage and collaborate with various departments within the bank to implement cross-departmental marketing initiatives aimed at maximizing profitability.
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive experience in international financial markets, with a comprehensive understanding of relevant financial products in the FX or rates sectors.
- Background in wholesale banking, with the ability to effectively utilize treasury products for managing liquidity risk.
- Strong team-oriented mindset, contributing positively to departmental and team development while fostering growth among team members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bloomberg software.
