We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Facilities Coordinator to join our dynamic team at RS Marine Group.
Key Responsibilities- Health and Safety Management
- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with UK and EU legislative requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Facilities Management
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, including RS Marine Group HQ, RS Sailing, RS Electric Boats, RS Cowes, RS Sailing Midlands, and Cheetah Marine.
- Manage contracts with external service providers related to facilities and utilities.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal facility condition.
- Administrative and Reporting
- Compile and maintain accurate records of health and safety activities, including risk assessments, inspections, and incident reports.
- Provide regular reports to management on health and safety performance and trends.
- Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably in the marine industry.
- Strong understanding of UK and EU health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
