Role Overview
The primary responsibilities include:
- Offering comprehensive support to Project and Production Teams by providing technical and quality-related information, along with necessary documentation.
- Estimating costs and timelines for the preparation, submission, and approval of job-related documents.
- Maintaining and effectively managing the Business Unit Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 3834-2 standards.
- Regularly reviewing and implementing local procedures, working documents, welding procedures, qualifications, and records.
- Coordinating the calibration of manufacturing and testing equipment within the Business Unit.
- Ensuring customer quality requirements are met and promoted within the work environment.
- Participating in bid meetings to assess technical and quality compliance necessary for successful contract completion and achieving performance indicators.
- Collaborating with subcontractors and client representatives to ensure quality compliance throughout the manufacturing process.
- Building strong relationships with customers, third-party inspection agencies, manufacturing teams, and suppliers.
- Assessing new and existing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with client specifications.
- Contributing to departmental development and pursuing continuous improvement through feedback and experience.
- Adhering to and promoting the Company Values.
Candidate Profile
To excel in this position, you will need:
- A background as a Time Served Engineer, ideally with an ONC/HNC in a relevant engineering field.
- Knowledge of machining and fabrication, along with organizational and planning skills.
- Certification in CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspection.
- The ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand geometric tolerances and symbols.
- Familiarity with material grades and their specifications.
- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive and dynamic approach to achieving results.
- The capability to coordinate customer activities diplomatically.
- Adaptability, self-motivation, decisiveness, and commitment.
- A good understanding of computer systems.

- Mainly office-based role.
- Occasional visits to various sites may be required.
