Your Role
As a Senior CFD Consultant, you will join a dedicated team that values employee ownership and offers numerous opportunities for professional growth and achievement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough technical quality assessments of your work and that of colleagues as necessary.
  • Provide proactive and effective support for all functions within your specialized division.
  • Ensure the timely and proficient delivery of CFD services to our clients.
  • Work independently or collaboratively to fulfill business objectives, whether in-office, remotely, or on-site.
  • Foster strong working relationships with colleagues and project teams.
  • Seek input from team members to facilitate the successful completion of your tasks.
  • Maintain professional certifications and stay informed about relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage a variety of tasks and inquiries to meet service expectations, serving as a key point of contact when assigned.
  • Assist in the collection and reporting of project-related data and financial information to support deliverables and performance metrics.
  • Exhibit professionalism and courtesy in all interactions, utilizing tact and diplomacy to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Perform additional duties that align with the overall purpose of this position.
  • Support administrative functions as needed, including time tracking and procurement tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field, with a focus on Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics; a PhD is a plus.
  • At least 4 years of experience in CFD modeling and reporting for mechanical systems in commercial or industrial settings.
  • Membership in professional organizations such as IMechE, CIBSE, or IET, with a focus on achieving professional accreditation.
  • Proficiency in CFD software, Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer, HVAC systems, and ANSYS.
  • Competence in MS Office and other relevant design software.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive approach to project management.
  • Capability to interpret various technical drawings and specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of mechanical systems and controls.
  • Experience in developing energy models using simulation software.
  • Familiarity with energy-efficient lighting systems.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
