In this role, you will oversee the management and maintenance of the waste management area, which includes coordinating the procurement of skips and collaborating with transport services for the disposal of materials from the waste storage areas and chemical storage.
Your responsibilities will also encompass the ordering and upkeep of Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) and barrels, ensuring the maintenance of these assets, conducting daily security inspections of the perimeter, and performing any external tasks as required.
Additionally, you will be tasked with the operation and maintenance of the Deionized water system, which includes conducting Cyanide testing of the water prior to its disposal.
There may also be opportunities for minor plumbing tasks and general facility maintenance, which could involve installing wall panels, relocating furniture, and fulfilling other necessary duties.
As a proficient Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the facility.To achieve this, you will collaborate with the Maintenance team, leveraging the expertise and insights of Operators, Team Leaders, and Production Managers, particularly during scheduled maintenance activities.
