Facilities Operations Manager

About The Role
The Facilities Manager will lead the day-to-day delivery of facility services and operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of planned preventative maintenance programs, statutory compliance, and cost-saving initiatives. This role will involve regular travel across our branch network, covering multiple sites and locations.
About You
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at GSF Car Parts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of contractor management in a multi-site commercial property environment, with excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate facility services and operations across multiple sites
- Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance programs to ensure statutory compliance and cost savings
- Lead and support teams in maintaining high standards of facility services and operations
- Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of facility services
- Monitor and report on facility services performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities management, with a focus on contractor management and multi-site operations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Relevant qualifications in facilities management, such as IWFM Level 4+ or equivalent
- Health and Safety qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH) is advantageous
