This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering graduate to join our client, a renowned organisation, delivering bespoke special purpose machinery.
As a Graduate Sales Engineer, you will assist sales managers in increasing the sales of services, process solutions, equipment, and more. This role will enhance your selling skills while providing opportunities to progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake extensive product training to reach a level of expertise to move into a Sales Manager position.
- Contribute to achieving the company's sales targets and profit targets applicable to all assigned brands' products on an international market.
- Work with existing Sales Managers on all projects from quotation to order closure and delivery at final site to understand and master the process.
- Gain an understanding of commercial contracts and associated commercial documentation, such as letters of credit and export requirements.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction in the products and services supplied by the company.
- Understand how to produce accurate forecasts of business and market needs, with formulated travel and sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Spend approximately 30% of your time on international travel, developing and nurturing business relationships that provide sales.
Key Requirements:
- Must be educated to degree level (Electrical Engineering subjects)
- Shows an eagerness to progress and willingness to travel when in a higher position
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM Systems
- Must display a confident attitude with excellent communication skills
