**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced thermal engineer to join our team at EVONA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing thermal control systems for our satellite programs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement thermal control systems for satellites, utilizing expertise in thermal analysis and design principles.
  • Conduct thorough thermal analyses for spacecraft systems, including steady-state and transient thermal evaluations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliable performance of satellite systems in extreme temperatures.
  • Provide expert guidance on thermal design decisions, leveraging knowledge of materials, thermal properties, and heat dissipation strategies.
  • Lead trade studies for material selection and subsystem hardware, ensuring optimal thermal performance.
  • Develop and implement TVAC test procedures, scripts, and installation designs, ensuring accurate and reliable testing.
  • Drive the development of thermal systems, including defining system architecture, modeling, component sizing, and detailed design.
  • Utilize FEM analysis tools (such as Ansys) and programming languages to analyze and optimize thermal systems.
  • Participate in hands-on hardware work, utilizing lab equipment to test and validate thermal systems.
  • Contribute to daily operations, company growth, and R&D planning, driving innovation and excellence in thermal engineering.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong expertise in satellite thermal control systems.
  • Experience with both theoretical and practical thermal analysis.
  • Proficiency in FEM analysis tools and programming languages.
  • Experience with hardware testing and lab equipment.
  • Passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a commitment to space innovation.
