Area Sales Manager (Heating / Plumbing)

Location: Reading

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Quarterly and Yearly Bonus + Company Car + Pay and Role Progression + Excellent Benefits + Tech Package + Training

Are you a sales professional with a background in heating and plumbing products looking to take on a challenging and rewarding role with a global-leading business? As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving business success and boosting your earnings through commission.

You will use your specialist knowledge to understand clients' problems and provide bespoke solutions across a range of products, including thermostats, programmers, and hydro-electrical heating devices. You will be an integral part of the sales team, working for a company that you can be proud to represent.

This role would suit a sales professional looking for an autonomous and varied field-based role with a great benefits package and the opportunity to have a real impact in a growing company.

The Role:
  1. Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services - developing new applications.
  2. Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments; understanding account requirements.
  3. Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts; leveraging your knowledge of heating and plumbing products.
  4. Contribute information to the market strategy by monitoring competitor products/activities and feedback account reactions to management/marketing departments.
