About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Brook View School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of our residents. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that each resident receives the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to children and young people with complex needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Contribute to a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of residents
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of care and support services
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to work a rota basis, including earlies and lates, with sleep ins
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs
