Temporary Sales Ledger Clerk Opportunity

Reed Accountancy & Finance is seeking a highly skilled Sales Ledger Clerk to join our client's team in Ashford. This temporary to permanent opportunity is ideal for a candidate with experience in sales ledger processes and a strong commitment to an office-based role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Matching, batching, and coding sales ledger invoices to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Setting up new client accounts in the system to maintain efficient financial management.
  • Managing daily banking activities and performing account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Proactively chasing outstanding debts to ensure timely payments and maintain a positive cash flow.
  • Verifying VAT on invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sales Ledger Clerk with a strong understanding of sales ledger processes.
  • Ability to start immediately without any notice period.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office to efficiently manage financial tasks.
