Group Sales Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Group Sales Coordinator to join our team at Maybourne. As a Group Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for daily administration and helping to convert group enquiries for our properties.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Pulling daily reports and distributing them to different departments, maintaining the filing system, and general administration.
  • Handling small group/internal group requests from initial enquiry to contract stage.
  • Assisting the Group Sales Team in organizing site visits and other administrative tasks for the Head of Group Sales as needed.
  • Ensuring all telephone calls are answered quickly and efficiently within the required timeframe as per MHG Standards of Service.
  • Negotiating with clients to ensure we are competitive with the competitive set and convert group business.
  • Proactively following up on all provisional bookings, keeping the Head of Groups Sales and Sales Managers informed about the progress of all bookings.
  • Issuing contracts upon successful negotiation, including calculating deposits and understanding cancellation policies.
  • Ensuring information is entered into Salesforce correctly and within company standards, including entering notes, contacts, and correspondences to track activities.
