Maintenance Supervisor Opportunity

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a manufacturing company to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Salary: £56,000

Shift Pattern: 3-week rotating shift pattern including Days and Nights

Working Hours:

  • Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 6am-6pm
  • Week 2: Monday, Tuesday - 6am-6pm, Wednesday, Thursday - 6pm-6am
  • Week 3: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 6pm-6am
  • 7 days off

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead and manage a team of engineers and be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling maintenance and engineering activities. Key duties include:

  • Leading Route Cause Analysis
  • Leading practical problem-solving to minimize downtime
  • Coordinating complex fault finding and escalating additional support requirements
  • Developing PM work orders and schedules for assets in CMMS
  • Improving maintenance and asset KPIs
  • Maintaining spares and improving the life cycle of components
  • Ensuring maintenance interventions on critical assets are bought off
  • Coordinating and undertaking equipment Risk Assessments and SOPs
  • Deputizing for the maintenance manager out of hours
  • Identifying and implementing safe working practices

We are looking for Maintenance Supervisors with the following skills and experience:

  • HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Formal Health and Safety qualification
  • CIEH Level 3 Health & Safety
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (preferred)
  • Continuous Improvement experience
  • Supervisory experience
