Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Coordinator to join our team at Stonbury. As a Site Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of our Water Frameworks for Northumbrian Water.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a wide range of tasks on our Water Frameworks, including day-to-day management of safety, health, environment, quality, and brand.
  • Deal with clients and their representatives, providing a vital link between site staff and project management.
  • Make pre-construction site visits and understand site set up requirements.
  • Ensure provisions are made for the delivery and storage of plant and equipment to ensure compliance with Stonbury's Anti-Theft Policy.
  • Liaise with the procurement team to ensure that sites have the appropriate and correct materials and plant, and they are delivered in timely fashion.
  • Utilise the Client Portal to keep clients regularly informed of on-site progress and include photos, videos as evidence of ongoing and completed works.
  • Liaise with commercial team with regards to early warnings and compensation events.
  • Conduct site inspections, completing relevant documentation and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Act as a mentor to site staff, promoting a just culture with regards to safety, health, environment and wellbeing.
  • Monitor/ manage any Sub-contractors or specialist contractors and check they are working to the RAMs provided and relevant permits.

Requirements

  • Able to use an iPad to read technical documents such as Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH Documents.
  • Comfortable with entering confined spaces and accessing works on a construction site.
  • Hold a current CSCS Card (ideally Gold Supervisor Card) and SSSTS or SMSTS as a minimum.
