Compensation: £38,000 + Performance Bonuses

BE Recruitment Ltd is in search of a skilled and proactive Engineering Installation Supervisor to lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of engineering installations across diverse projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct the installation phase of engineering projects.
  • Execute established project plans, timelines, and financial frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality benchmarks.
  • Develop and manage schedules for installation and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor and manage installation timelines for both large-scale and minor projects.
  • Collaborate with staffing agencies to adjust workforce requirements based on project demands.
  • Guide, mentor, and provide technical support to a team of installation engineers.
  • Effectively allocate resources and assess team performance.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients regarding installation projects.
  • Engage in client discussions prior to on-site installations.
  • Address client inquiries and provide timely updates on project status.
  • Review and authorize installation design documentation, plans, and specifications.
  • Ensure installations adhere to design and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and resolve any performance issues during installations.
  • Troubleshoot and address technical challenges throughout the installation process.
  • Guarantee compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary mitigation strategies.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in engineering.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including installation reports and records.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status updates to management.
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with company and regulatory standards.
  • Engage in regular communication with the project management team.

Qualifications:
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, PASMA, IPAF, CSCS, SSSTS, SMSSTS certifications.
  • Full Clean UK driving license and valid UK passport.
  • Extensive experience in engineering installation or project management roles.
  • Demonstrated success in managing engineering projects.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in engineering and installation methodologies.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
  • Licenses for LGV HGV or similar vehicles.
  • Forklift operation certification.
  • Hands-on mechanical skills, including proficiency with power tools.
  • Familiarity with or possession of electrical engineering certification.
  • Combination of office-based responsibilities with regular site visits.
  • Willingness to work away from home and stay near installation sites for extended periods.
  • Some international travel may be required.
