About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our Project and Programme Delivery (PPD) department at bet365. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing systems administration and technical support to our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Administration
    • Support the user communities of our key systems and manage requests for Change and Proof of Concept (PoC) work.
    • Provide internal support for business users, responding quickly to questions and issues.
  • Reporting and Analytics
    • Develop and deliver real-time reporting using PowerBI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to management and end-users.
    • Produce repeatable and ad-hoc management information associated with delivery portfolios and lifecycles.
  • System Testing and Maintenance
    • Perform end-to-end system testing as part of changes or upgrades to systems and applications.
    • Support regular maintenance duties, including operating system and application patching.
  • Security and Access Control
    • Develop and manage permission models to ensure controlled access to applications.
  • Technical Consultations and Collaboration
    • Provide technical consultations as needed and liaise with other teams within the technology domain.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in systems administration, maintenance, and release planning.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Experience with JIRA administration, Confluence, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, with a can-do attitude.
  • Working knowledge of web technology and development environments.
