Job Title: Senior School Administrator

Job Summary:

The Aurora Group is seeking an experienced Senior School Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our school administration team, you will provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and contribute to the efficient and effective running of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, including managing MIS systems, maintaining records, and coordinating events.
  • Support the efficient and effective running of internal and external examinations, including liaising with Exams Officer, staff, students, invigilators, and examination boards.
  • Coordinate off-site trips and activities, ensuring compliance with policy and internal processes.
  • Arrange and coordinate events, including Careers Day, School concerts, parents' evenings, open events, and associated marketing initiatives.
  • Provide general administration support, including reception cover, telephone duties, typing of letters/documents, monitoring emails, and receiving visitors and deliveries.

Requirements:

  • High levels of interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative role for at least a year.
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy, computer literacy, and ability to use a range of databases and bespoke systems.
  • High level of organisation and good time management.
  • Ability to manage own time to deal with multiple tasks.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to be discreet, confidential, and reliable.
